When organizational or political campaigns are working on a field plan, there is a lot of focus on voter turnout. However, taking a look at voter density can also help you decide which tools in the field toolbox will serve you best. A field strategy aimed at reaching people who live in a high rise with 300+ likely voters should be different than a strategy aimed at reaching voters who live in single-family homes.

We will start by mapping voter density vs. voter turnout, brain-storming which field activities (door knocking, text banking, community events, etc.) are best for each situation. We’ll also walk folks through a data template that will help campaigns do the same analysis on their voter data.

This training is great for people who are either new to working with field data for a campaign or local organization, or for anyone looking to improve their skill in analyzing such data.
