To win transformative victories, we need to build power in our communities from the ground up, 365 days a year — not just when an election is around the corner. Relational organizing is how we win. It’s not just a buzzword for the most effective voter contact method at our disposal; it is a methodology at the center of how communities have always organized and built power to meet their needs. One thing we’ve seen time and time again, whether from unions, campaigns, grassroots community groups or large distributed organizations, is that relationships are our greatest source of power, and when we center them in our work, we have the capacity to create transformative change.

This session will teach you how to create a relational-forward organizing program that empowers leaders to leverage power for tangible victories, from issue and electoral outcomes to building your base.
