The Senate runoffs in Georgia were an extraordinary opportunity for multiracial coalitions and rapid electoral organizing that resulted in historic wins and Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) voter turnout. We will discuss the innovative approaches we took to coordinate media, digital, and field strategies in a fully integrated way. We will provide an inside look into: engaging g macro-/micro-influencers and leveraging their followers for youth turnout; working with ethnic and in-language media to ensure our messaging resonated with immigrant voters; aligning field contacts with communications and messaging to convert voters at the doors into spokespeople for the campaign; working with local and national AAPI artists to develop engaging content, and coordinating year-round organizing to maintain post-election engagement. This workshop is for campaign and organizing staff at all levels in communications and organizers who want to integrate digital into their campaign more fully.
